Manipulate: To control or influence something skillfully; to handle or operate with the hands.

The magician knew how to manipulate the cards, so the audience would always pick the one he wanted.

Minimize: To reduce something to the smallest possible amount or degree; to make something seem less important.

The company tried to minimize the environmental impact of the factory by installing new pollution filters.

 Key Club
Key Club is proud to present our final event of the year: Hearts for Hospice. We are collecting new, packaged, and gently used toys to support patients in hospice as well as underserved communities.

For every donation, you will receive 1 hour of community service. Some teachers are also offering extra credit for students who participate, so be sure to check with your teachers. If you are donating for extra credit, please give your toys directly to your teacher.
A donation box will be located in the lobby for all other contributions.
Thank you!

Boys Tennis
Congratulations to the boys' tennis team on their final victory of the season against West Hempstead.  In singles, Sehil Dhoundiual, Diego Nieto, and Eliah Tolley demonstrated impressive play.  Equally awesome at doubles were the teams of Fernando Larios with Matthe Streber, Ilan Perez with Michael Perez, and Koren Toubul with Nathan Machado.  It was a challenging season for the team, having to forfeit at least one position each match due to the dwindling number of players as the season progressed.  Nevertheless, the drive and commitment of the core members of the team resulted in the team taking 3rd place in the conference.  Congratulations to these tennis tornadoes, and best of luck to the graduating players.  You will be missed!
