Good Evening, Kindergarten Families! I hope you all enjoyed Spring Break and the sunshine ! Tomorrow we welcome back Cohort A (blue) students! Remember to fill out the Frontline Health App by 8am each morning your child attends in person learning. If your child is experiencing any symptoms or if anyone in the house is awaiting test results, please keep your child home to participate in live instruction remotely. We appreciate your help in keeping our school safe and healthy! . . . ¡Buenas noches a las familias de kindergarten! ¡Espero que hayan disfrutado las vacaciones de primavera y el sol! ¡Mañana damos la bienvenida a los estudiantes de la Cohorte A (azul)! Recuerde llenar la aplicación Frontline Health antes de las 8 am cada mañana a la que su hijo/a asiste en persona para aprender. Good Afternoon! Just a friendly reminder that school is closed for Spring Break from March 29th to April 5th! School will resume on Tuesday, April 6th with Cohort A returning in-person! The week of April 12th we will be celebrating the Week of the Young Child. We have five fun-filled, themed days to celebrate our youngest learners and all those who support our youngest learners in Lawrence. 4/12- Music Monday! 4/13- Tasty Tuesday! 4/14- Work Together Wednesday! 4/15- Artsy Thursday! 4/16- FAMILY FRIDAY! A special thank you goes out to you and your families as you are your child’s first and most important teacher! Please feel free to create or draw a family collage with your child to share on Family Friday whether virtually or in person! Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday March 17, the times for meal distribution at the Primary (#2) School will be 9 AM - 11:15 AM.

Lawrence Families, Jon Rice from NYS Office of Mental Health will present to parents of students in grades K-6 tonight. In these challenging times, Jon is a great resource for us as we support our children. It’s a good hour workshop, I hope you will join. Dismissal will be at 11:30AM for those who attend in person tomorrow Thursday, March 11th! Today we celebrated the 100th Day of School! Our classes have been counting the days of school since September and we have learned that 100 is the same as 10 sets of 10. Kindergarteners, both hybrid and remote, enjoyed the fun-filled 100th Day!

In honor of Read Across America Day & Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Tuesday, March 2nd, we will have a Dr. Seuss themed Spirit Week next week, March 1st-March 5th! Each day will have a different theme that represents one of Dr. Seuss' books! We hope all students join in on the fun! Happy Reading! . .
