LAWRENCE, NEW YORK (NOVEMBER 2023)—Lawrence Primary and Lawrence Elementary School recently hosted an ENL Family Night, inviting families and students from grades one to six to welcome the fall season with a variety of education activities.

The events as designed to focus on the New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSESLAT) skills of listening, reading, and writing. The ENL Family Night featured a range of activities, including interactive reading sessions, listening exercises, and writing workshops. These activities were designed to be both educational and enjoyable providing students with the opportunity to apply their English language skills in a practical context.
