Badminton – Advisor – Coach Leary

There will be a badminton meeting Wednesday, March 4 at 2:45 pm in the cafeteria.  All girls are welcome. No experience is necessary.  See Coach Leary for details. Season begins Monday, March 16th.

DECA – Advisor – Mr Albin

These are the results from the DECA State Career Conference last week:

Xian Scott placed 6th overall in the Professional Selling category.

Nader Daruvala was top 10 overall in the Exam portion and with Luke Kirchner .the two placed 7th overall in the Integrated Marketing Campaign Event.

This is back to back years for Luke competing on the International level and 15th year in a row Lawrence had at least one representative.

Please wish all the 3 boys congratulations and good luck for the next level in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

Medical Marvels – Ms. Isseroff and Ms. Pearl

With their slogans, “Get your Shots to not get Spots” and “Don’t Hesitate to Vaccinate”, we wish congratulations to Lawrence High School students Liselot Polanco, Syed Bukhari, Matthew Sharin and Gabby Dormanas on winning first place presentation in Northwell Health’s Medical Marvels competition.  The Lawrence HS team placed first among 30 Long Island High School teams in presenting their ideas for increasing vaccinations among the student population and combatting anti-vaccination myths.  Great job, Lawrence!

PM School – Advisor – Ms. Gerard

PM School will take place Monday’s and Wednesday’s 2:45 pm – 5:45 pm for Science and Social Studies in room 116.

 

PM School will take place on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s 2:45 pm – 5:45pm for English and Math in room 101.
