Welcome Back!
We hope you all had a relaxing and refreshing summer.

In these difficult times, PTA meetings provide important information, guest speakers and address common concerns on topics that are pertinent to all of us.  We encourage you to attend PTA meetings and look forward to seeing you there.  To accommodate working parents, we alternate our monthly meetings between day and evening.

Coming to PTA meetings, in conjunction with monthly School Board Meetings, will help you stay well informed!  Please find future meeting dates on district calendar and on district website: www.lawrence.org .
 
This year PTA has a new mission which is to fund educational program for all Middle School children during the week of most core subject teachers are grading State test.  In order to do so, we need your help to join PTA and also to participate in our fundraising events.  We will be sending PTA meeting reminders and fundraising event flyers home through-out the school year.

Membership Drive

        Lawrence Middle School PTA is the voice for our children, the voice for your children.  We urge you to get involved, and join the PTA.  We are a member of both the New York State PTA as well as the National PTA.

Our monthly meetings are informative, and keep you abreast of the happenings in our school as well as our school district.  To accommodate our parents, we alternate our meetings between days and evenings (check the District calendar for days and times).  

        Through membership dues and our fundraising activities, we are able to provide programs for our children; donate a gift to our school and participate in the PTA Scholarship program which benefits Elementary, Middle School and High School students.

        To become a member of the Middle School PTA, please send the following information:

Member’s Name
Student’s Name
Student’s Homeroom
 $7 membership fee
donation to Scholarship Fund (optional)
donation to Middle School PTA (also optional)
and cash or check made payable to Lawrence Middle School PTA

to the PTA mailbox in the main office or to the guidance office as soon as possible.  Only one membership is needed per person regardless of the number of children you have in the school.  We encourage fathers, mothers, grandparents and guardians to become members.

        Your support and your participation is greatly needed and appreciated.
