Dear Friends and Families of Number Four School,

As the winter approaches, the children are thriving thanks to your commitment to them and to their school.  Thank you for your participation at our recent conferences. Remember that our staff is always available to assist you with the challenging job of parenting young children, call or stop in anytime. This month we celebrate winter’s arrival with our “sing”.  Please plan to put aside a little time to listen to the beautiful voices of the children and gather together for a snack. You’ll hear more from your classroom teachers, but try to hold the date based on the schedule posted below.

During December we are continuing our character education lessons on kindness to ourselves and to others. After our successful “Turkey Trot” the wellness committee continues to focus on healthy eating and movement to stay fit. At Number Four School, Wellness Wednesday will expand to include the grain and protein group, while the seasonal popular character of the Gingerbread man who ‘ran and ran” will become our “hero” in celebrating movement to stay fit.
