Computer Club Rules

The computer club meets every Wednesday Morning, in the computer lab at 3:30-4:30. We do many things, such as research, surfing on the net, and playing games. The computer club consists of about 30 students. While attending the computer club, students learn much about the computer and about The Net. We focus on using the Internet safely. Along with the Internet, kids also have the opportunity to play games, which are already networked on the computer. Some games, which the students can choose from, are 3-D Pinball, chess, car races, Solitaire and many others. So please come join us! Remember the Computer Club is open to all students!!

The Service Learning Club

We meet every Thursday after schooling room 336. Our first project was to sell Human-I-Tees Products. Our second product is to take the profit money and use it for our project called Souls For Sneakers. We will give needy children in our district new shoes.

If you are interested in this project, please send dollar bills to the Service Learning Club, c/o Ms. Mjaanes, Lawrence Middle School, 195 Broadway, Lawrence, NY 11559 1732.

Be sure to save your used holiday greeting cards. We are going to send them to St. Jude's Ranch in Nevada, Where abandoned and abused teenagers will recycle them for a profit.
