FRENCH |
|
Traditionally, this language has been considered the language of culture and
international relations. In the 18th and 19th centuries, it managed to supplant Latin as
the language of diplomacy. Many universities require a reading knowledge of French for
students undertaking a doctoral (PhD.) degree. Students entering French 5/AP will have the
option of studying the regular French 5 curriculum which includes some Advanced Placement
course with all the readings covered in depth. Hence, the designation French 5/AP.
