Shadows and Silhouettes - http://artforkids.about.com/kids/artforkids/library/weekly/aa091097.htm?once=true& One way to create artwork using light and shadows is to make a silhouette. A silhouette (sill-oo-ett) is a picture of a shadow. The outline of the shadow is drawn, and then filled in with a solid color, such as black.

It takes a while for the movie to load, but while you are waiting you can take the quiz that they have. After you finish looking at this one, there are others on Energy & Heat, Matter, and Sound.

Mixing Light http://www.osc.on.ca/JustFun/InteractiveZone/AddCol/addcol.htm This interactive site reviews what happens when you mix light. Drag the colored circles around to change the color patterns.
