Special Meeting

Tuesday, January 16, 2007 – 8:00 PM

The Special Meeting of the Lawrence Union Free School District Board of Education was called to order at 8:05 p.m. by Asher Mansdorf, President.

Immediately upon motion by Pamela Greenbaum and seconded by Stanley Kopilow the Board entered executive session. to discuss the corrective action plan with the Internal Auditor and the board as the Audit Committee and discuss the priorities of the Audit Committee. The lunch program is to be the priority. The meeting ended at 8: 30p.m.

The following Board members were present: Asher Mansdorf, President, David Sussman, Vice President, Murray Forman, Pamela Greenbaum, Michael Hatten, and Stanley Kopilow.

Uri Kaufman was not present.

Also present were: Elsie Friedman, Assistant Superintendent for Business, Albert D’Agostino, School Counsel, Alice Laino, District Clerk.

Internal Auditor and the board as the Audit Committee discussed the corrective action plan and where they place the priorities. The lunch program is to be the priority. The Audit Committee meeting ended at 8: 30p.m.

The Board continued its executive session to discuss real estate issues.

Murray Forman motioned to enter public session for the purpose of adjourning the meeting. Michael Hatten seconded the motion. Meeting adjourned at 10:10 p.m.
